Jennie Cassidy

Jennie Cassidy has been singing in the field of early music for eight years, performing in recordings and festivals throughout Europe.  She is renowned for her clarity of tone, her two-and-a-half octave range and her variety of vocal colours. She has performed with many leading early music ensembles including Gothic Voices, The Harp Consort, The Taverner Consort, The Gabrieli Choir, Musicians of the Globe, Psalmody and The New London Consort, and has recorded for Radio 3 and for the BBC Music Magazine. Her recent solo recordings include two CDs of virtuoso music by Kapsberger with the German ensemble Musiche Varie.
