Belinda Sykes

Belinda Sykes trained as an oboist at London’s Guildhall School of Music and studied voice and improvisation in North Africa, Bulgaria, Spain and the Middle East. She has appeared as a soloist with most of Europe’s foremost early music ensembles and world music bands including Red Byrd, The Harp Consort, Oni Wytars, Ensemble Unicorn, The New London Consort and Tragicomedia. She directs the medieval ensemble Joglaresa and teaches medieval song at Trinity College of Music.
